Day 32

Thursday April 29, 2010. Got up and had no water. I went to the well and the pump was not running. I went to the water tanks and they were empty. I went back to the well and pushed the reset button and pump started but when I released the button it quit again. I got a stick and held the button in. I went to the tanks and they were filling so I knew the pump was ok. I let it run. I told Haley at circlo about it and she said that someone had left her peela running all night. Then she said we had to take all the girls to the little school down the road for shots. I took them in the hus. About 9:30 I told Haley I needed to go and check on the pump. I came back home and the tanks were just starting to run over. I released the reset button. When I got a chance I ask Rosa to ask Chilo if he knew the man who had installed the switch system and he said he did and would have to go to his home in La Esperanza because he did not have his phone number. Haley shows up with the girls and says they are not doing the clinic today. Chilo and I go to town to get the pump man because I want it checked. We get corn, corn meal, sugar, rope, a mop, a broom, baby diapers and the pump man and then we head home. The man checks everything and says that everything is ok. He says that the water level is sometimes too low so the pump cuts off. That is possible I guess. Anyway I feel better because he checked it. I ask Evelen to take pictures of the new girls and she has a ball all afternoon taking videos with my little camera. I show them to the girls on my computer after supper. Off to be and another day gone by. I truly know that God is good!
