Day 31

Wednesday April 28, 2010. Well just when I thought we had done everything out of our comfort zone we get to go to the judge’s office and get two new girls for the farm. Haley, Eleven and I go to the judge’s office and meet the infa man. Haley says we might have to go get the girls from their home. I do not like that! But when we get to the judges office they are there waiting for us. Their mother is with them and the infa man. They start the paper work and about two hours later we leave the judges office and go to the hospital to schedule a check up for the new girls. That we are told is standard and the judges require it. We then leave with the two new girls and head to the dress and shoe store. I am amazed that the girl’s mother gets in the truck with us and after we buy the cloths and shoes we stop at the video store and the mother just gets out and leaves. No tears or goodbyes she just leaves. The two girls do not cry of anything. So we head home. After we get home Chilo and I head back to town to get vegs for the hogs and a few things for Haley and the girls. Keith call just as we are leaving tells me he is busy and cannot pick up Angela and Norma and ask if I can. So we pick them up at the bus station and then do a few more chores and then head home. Norma seems to be doing well. Most of the girls were very excited about her getting home. Some just were indifferent. Just like children everywhere. The new girls seem to fit right in. Things might be different in a few days but today they see fine. I am praying for them very hard.
