Day 20

Thursday April 15, 2010. Tax day in the USA. Well I hope mine are done ok I did them before I left. I guess I will hear when I get back. The day started out slow and has maintained that all day. Haley and I went with two girls to get some river sand from the River Farm. Then I worked on the truck most of the day. The front bumper was about to fall off again so I took it off and removed all the old welds that had been put on it. Then I reattached it with bolts. I did not have the parts to repair the blinker lights. I will try to get them tomorrow. Haley informed me that I had to go to town so I will try to do a lot of stuff then. If not tomorrow we always go on Saturday and I can get things then. I have to go to the bank tomorrow. That is a fun trip. You have to wait for hours it seems just to make a deposit. Strange world but it is theirs and we are invaders here. Haley told me that we had eaten all the rice we bought last week. I told her yes and the dogs, chickens, ducks and whatever other animals are here have eaten it. We only had 100 lbs that was to last us until Pam got back. Oh well I guess we will eat beans now. I think we are going to have to keep a closer eye on the food from now on. Anyway God will provide for us. I is raining again so no garden for a few more days. Maybe next week if the rain lets up. God is so good to send us this rain.
