Day 13

Wednesday April 7, 2010. Well got and went to breakfast. Pam said she was going to the school until 10{00 AM. Then we would go to town. I started to repair the roof on house 4 when Chilo brought the tractor and wanted me to work on the plows for him. Then he showed me that the rear tire was missing some lug bolts and some of the nuts were loose. I got the plow fixed and then I jack the tractor up and removed the tire. Someone had put the wrong lug bolts on it but that is the way it is here you use what you can find. David Fields called and we talked a while. Around 9:30 Pam called and said she would be down soon and we would go to town. I continued working on the tractor. We finally went to town. We went to Yamarangula and did something I do not know what. Then we went on to La Esperanza. We went to the bank and she put a check in and then paid the light bill. Next we went to the feed and grain store. We bought beans, rice for children and dogs, seed for the little chickens, corn, and I am sure something else I cannot remember. We went to give Cruz some money. While there the truck would not crank. The battery cables were loose. We then carried Pam to the hair dresser and Chilo and I went to look for the lug nuts. We did not find any so we went home. I worked on the truck battery and then I put the tractor wheel back on with the old lug bolts we had and a couple we found in the shop that were also not the correct ones. Anyway I got it where he can farm. / After that it was supper time. Pam said she was going to take the girls to youth night so I am home taking it easy. God is so good!
