update

I guess I am not much of a blogger. It has been a while since I posted anything. So here it is. In March the tree musketeers from Spring Branch Baptist church went to Pitts Ga to help build a mission building. It was a short job it only lasted 1/2 a day. Then David and I were invited to Haiti to help Flordia Baptist build homes. After we got back to the US we went to Valdosta Ga for a week to frame the inside of a metal building for Eastern Heights Baptist Church. We are getting ready now to go to Honduras for two weeks to try to put a roof on the duplex that is started there. Thanks for all your prayers and support

new year 2011

Well it has been a while since I blogged. There was a lot going on during the holidays but I guess nothing to write about. I am not much of a writer anyway. Well I have made a trip to Honduras. A team from PA erected the walls on the duplex apratment building we are building there. It is ready for roof if anyone wants to go and put it on let me know. I am planning a trip to Haiti. We have helped build one church in Georgia so far this year. I have two or three more projects I am looking at working toward doing this year.

Haiti

This is our 3rd day in Haiti. We worked yesterday with material we could scrap up. Today about noon we got a shipment of lumber. We started real production this afternoon. Tomorrow we plan to hit it hard. The 4 Haitian men are doing well. Wayne and I showed them all we know in a few minutes and now they are getting after it. We might stay in the ac tomorrow and just go out and look every now and then Thanks for your prayers

Haiti 3rd Trip

Well I am back in Haiti again. I know God has a purpose for me here. I am helping Flordia Baptist build trusses for the new homes they are building. I am also teaching 4 Hatitins how to build them so they can work when we leave. Flordia Baptist and SBC have plans to build 5000 homes in the next 2 to 5 years. I am glad God has allowed me to be a part of this project

Haiti 2nd trip

Well I am headed back to Haiti. Ga Baptist DR ask me to take a team of nurses down. I do not know why I have never done any nursing. But I will take them in next Wednesday for 8 days. Please keep praying that God will show us the way to go with building projects there. I know it is slow but maybe we can get something going soon

Haiti

I have just returned from Haiti. We looked at many churches and areas that need a lot of assistance with rebuilding. GBC will decide in the next few weeks what they will do. I will keep everyone posted

My Next Trip

August 23, 2010 Myself and 2 other men will be traveling to Haiti to investigate the possibility of Georgia Baptist setting up a home rebuild simular to the one we had in Mississippi after Katrina. Please pray for us as we travel and plan for this!
